About Motion In Time Photography

Our Mission

At Motion In Time, our mission is to capture the essence of adventure through stunning photography, including cultural photography that highlights diverse experiences. We believe in the power of images to tell stories and document experiences that resonate with our audience. Capturing real people, global cultures, and wildlife through our photography, and moments of life, whether for a magazine photo editor or documentary photography purposes. Understanding that those moments of life are often unrecorded but are crucial, each one reflects life, educates, and tells a story. We work with film, digital, and video production.

        Dunnottar Castle

440 MM rock formation in which the castle was built.

Evidence of Picts living on the sea stack of Dunnicaer, just north of where the Castle is situated today, has been found by archaeologists from the University of Aberdeen. The name ‘dun’ is Pictish for ‘fort’. It is believed that the Picts established it between 5000BC and 700AD.

        Location: Stonehaven, Scotland

St Mary's Abbey in Melrose, Roxburghshire, was founded in 1136 by Cistercian monks under King David of Scotland. Once the main hub of the Cistercian order in the area, the monastery retained its prominence until the Reformation period. Presently, its partially destroyed edifice serves as a poignant reminder of bygone tales, providing a window into the profound legacy of the Scottish border.
